Water for Tharparkar
22 Million People In Pakistan Don’t Have Access To Clean Water
The majority of these people live in rural areas inaccessible by road. In Tharparkar, women and children spend hours a day retrieving water. Walking for water keeps children out of school, and it stops parents from being able to make a livelihood for themselves. With almost 80% of water in Tharparkar not safe to drink, water carries many diseases that the poverty stricken area cannot handle.
The Goal:$8,036
Help us raise $8,036 to build a solar water pump in the village of Dabho Bheel, Tharparkar Pakistan.
